BLOODY MARY'S: Do you prefer a celery stalk or green olives in your drink? How do you make yours-what mix do

you use, and do you use vodka or rum? I use vodka and I like to put in olives. Cheers!

BLOODY MARY'S: Do you prefer a celery stalk or green olives in your drink? How do you make yours-what mix do
I absolutely love Tabasco brand's bloody mary mix with extra horseradish. I usually take a pint glass, fill it with ice, add 6-7 dashes of bitters, maybe a dash or two of tabasco, a teaspoon of horseradish (if its for me, if not, then I leave this out), a shot or two of vodka, and fill with Tabasco brand bloody mary mix with extra horseradish. Then I put a shaker on top and mix it up a bit, so all the ingredients blend. Then I top it off with jumbo green olives and some fresh black peppper. I've made them from scratch before, but they're never as good as this.

At the bar that I worked at, we didn't have celery. Olives were the norm for bloody mary's, but I did occasionally have people request lemons instead.
Reply:Vodka, V-8 (instead of tomato juice), horse raddish, a little lemon juice, Tambasco Hot Sauce, 2 green olives, 1 peppercini, and 1 stalk of celery

It's delicious and nutritious
Reply:A true Bloody Mary's is made with Vodka, not rum. And substituting tomato/V8 juice for clamato juice makes it a Cesar ;-)

I make mine by putting a few large ice cubes in a tall glass, add a couple dashes (or more) of Tobasco hot sauce, a couple cracks of black pepper and just a tiny sprinkle of celery salt over the ice. Chilled Vodka goes in and I mix the condiments around in it. Top up with V8 or Clamato and give a stir. I usually like the celery stalk, but last summer while hanging with my Aunt, I discovered *pickled green beans* are the best thing I've ever had to garnish a Cesar/Bloody Mary with. I tend to add more hot sauce afterwards, but I like really spicy foods. Oh, and I usually don't rim the glass with celery salt, it's too messy for me ;-)
Reply:VODKA WITH CELERY
Reply:Vodka, Tomato Juice, Lemon Juice, Pepper Medley Grinders, Sea Salt, Worsteschire sauce. I like Stumps Hot Olives in mine, as well as Pickled Garlic and brussel spouts. If I am feeling really wild and crazy, cold shrimp.
Reply:BOTH and all.
