Im looking for a mushroom that my grandad used to call a blue stalk?
Proper name is I think Wood Blewitt. They were the first wild fungi to be harvested commercially and are utterly delish!

Reply:I think you are looking for the Ink Cap that has to be eaten within a couple of hours, their stalks are a bluey colour, they are out now..
Reply:I know them as Blue leg's, very tasty! you often find them in wooded area's, they are quite expensive to buy. Look for info on the net, edible fungi, good luck.
