How do I stalk someone on the internet?

If it's just for a report, you can probably start at Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberstalki...

There are some helpful links on there to get you started with your research.

How do I stalk someone on the internet?
you better remove this question before someone reports you to your local police station.
Reply:You idiot.
Reply:By continuously emailing them! changing your email name in chat rooms! changing your appearance! Finding out what sites they are on and join them! getting jealous over everything they do unless your involved! Playing network games etc. so you set yourselves to invisible! playing mind games! for a reaction from them! going on a site or into a chat room you know they are at! just wont leave them alone! there is a difference though in stalking and the person being paranoid! Because you might have meet that person on that site! your just there!
Reply:You don't, you could end up in prison and ruining someone's life. Talking of life - do you have one?
Reply:I love your ballz.
Reply:I DO NOT KNOW HOW====BUT I TELL U THIS MUCH=IT CAN BE DONE

A FRIEND OF MINE SAID=AN EX FRIEND GOT IN HER E MAIL DELETED LOTS OF THINGS=THIS HAPPENED 2 TIMES= SO ANY ONE HAVE ANSWER TO THIS=HOW CAN YOU STOP IT=THANKS

Why do people stalk others on Y!A in the election forum? Has this happened to you?

I have someone who staks my questions and answers and tries to get all nasty as if this is some kind of personal vendetta. It's weird, creepy even. I thought this forum was to express ideas and not be stalked. Has this ever happened to you guys?

Why do people stalk others on Y!A in the election forum? Has this happened to you?
I've had times when I got reported for innocent things every day until Yahoo! suspended my account. I have only had a few individuals who made it a point to e-mail me and try to hurt my feelings or scare me. I urge you to report any harassment to Yahoo! because even though it is usually just some *** using his anonymity you never know when one of them might be the next crazy who shoots up a school, or your house. Yahoo! does a good job of keeping us from being identified though.

Those ones who follow me around to give me thumbs down are just comical. I guess they think I take it seriously. I could care less what an idiot thinks of me lol.
Reply:No, they probably don't have a life. Just make your q%26amp;as private. Problem will be solved.
Reply:Yep, no matter how truthful and factual the answer, some jerk will have it removed, or have it loaded with thumbs down.

Joe R: you are 100% right about the answers you give, and Yahoo will not give any reason or negotiate the problem, I guess it's just too much fun to delete and send violation notices. You have no recourse with Yahoo.
Reply:Really?then you might want to report them to yahoo

who is the stalker?
Reply:If you feel stalked hit the report button on the yahoo answer..They are great at taking care of problems like that...
Reply:yeah, just make your questions and answers private, it cuts down on some of it.
Reply:yes, that's why mine are set to private...
Reply:maybe once or twice.
Reply:Yes it does. The thing is thought i makes for debating. Obviously people have different opinion and that is why we come to places like this and exchange ideas even when we do not agree. It would suck if you had to make your questions private as you would limit the number of inputs.
Reply:Yes, it happened to me once. I stayed patient, kept a record of all the incidents, with links, and when I had enough evidence I actually called Yahoo and talked to a supervisor who then gave me her email address and two days later his account was history. Blocking him didn't help. he just kept creating new identities each time I'd block the last one. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire and not give up just because it's too much trouble.
Reply:Yes and it is an unacceptable practice, but it happens on all sites so there is really only one thing a person can do.~
Reply:Nope. Maybe its the type of questions your asking.
Reply:We all have them. Don't flatter yourself thinking you are special or your answers particularly insightful.

Guess what? Someone cannot stalk you if they don't know who you are. Rebutting your questions is not stalking.
Reply:Do what I do when someone does me that way, block them, that way they cant see any of your questions or answers....usually its just trolls or some idiot trying to start trouble on here, ignore it...believe me if you ignore them they will go away!
Reply:Yeh, my stalker would be called suckmeconservatives.

He's a jerk.

He sent me one nasty email, which I replied to not nicely, and continues to report any of my answers when he comes accross them even though I blocked him.

Liberal democrats don't debate or argue, THEY ATTACK!

Kind of like Terrorists.
Reply:There are people like that in the Parenting Sections also(New Born %26amp; Baby) and we call them TROLLS.

People are just strange and have nothing better to do then spread around negative thoughts.
Reply:Not that hasn't happened to me and yes that is creepy. Obviously this person has no life and has a hard time moving on!
Reply:never happen here
Reply:They may have, but I honestly don't care. This is ultimately nothing but a lot of ascii text that disappears when (and if) you turn off your computer.
Reply:He wants a date. He's the sad construction guy that whistles at women thinking they like it.

You can always block him.
Reply:Yeah, but not where I imagined I'd make the most people angry (politics- I'm a moderate, so I anger both parties) But in video games because I'd said my XBox 360 gathers dust because it's less fun to play than my PS3. That kid needed to get a life!

But yes, it happens all the time. I just block the users and go on with my happy life here on Y!A...
Reply:yes it has happened to me, cyber stalking from some people on YA. One person even changed his/her name to "hangNana"

there are a lot of wierdos out there
Reply:Yeah, all the time. My stalker even goes so far as to have Yahoo pull questions he or she doesn't like. He or she doesn't know me, but calls me racist and sexist. I'm about ready to cry.
Reply:Heh, I've had answers on the Homework Help forum given thumbs-down after I make an unpopular remark on one of the Political sections.

I guess some people just don't like math. :)
Reply:Yes. It is bizarre but an unfortunate side of Y!A.

Obama supporters are particularly apt to stalk and hit 'report it' buttons if they don't like a question or answer.
Reply:I'm sorry this is happening to you, but I would say it's because a bunch of the people here are just assholes.

Some of these people are crude, rude, dishonest, and idiotic... to say the least.

Reply:I have a guy claiming to be a federal agent who emails incessantly trying to start a fight. The more I mock him, the madder he gets. Tons of fun.
Reply:Nope...I did have a nasty crude email sent to me....but I blocked him!

Can an employer be in trouble for paying someone to stalk me? Oh and to top it off it turns out he's sexually

molested people before? First of all Im appoled someone would do this and what kinda sicko would hire a sex offender to do this? I have proof on tape do I call a lawyer and sue or is it criminal and therefor Id need to tell police?

Can an employer be in trouble for paying someone to stalk me? Oh and to top it off it turns out he's sexually
This is a crime. Call the police. After the conviction you will be able to sue your employer. Don't try to sue without first having the stalker convicted. The Judge is going to tell you that you have no case because your premise that you were being stalked is not admissible until it has been proven.
Reply:Get a lawyer. He will explain to you what can happen. It is criminal but the punishment changes from state-to-state but make sure to press charges against the stalker, then the lawyer should tell you how to take care of the company.
Reply:First if you have proof, then you should report this individual to your local police for your safety. Then I would file a lawsuit against the employer.
Reply:Call the police. You will need a police report!

Then call a lawyer from the nearest big city with experience. Don't you dare feel bad for suing them. They broke the law and if you let them get away with it shame on you. SUE SUE SUE!

Emotional distress=millions!

P.S. Can you buy me a car? Really, after the case settles, nothing fancy just a Honda Civic so I can go to college. Thanks and good luck.
Reply:call the police, in most states it is against the law and both should be arrested.
Reply:Go to the police

Is it true that many people who were adopted stalk their biological family members?

Ha ha. No.

Is it true that many people who were adopted stalk their biological family members?
I don't think they "stalk" them. I would try to find them if I was adopted also because I would want to know who my real parents were.
Reply:Well, I wouldn't say that they stalk but I do know that they try to find them in need of their family background. But if their are some that do stalk I bet that they are just curious.
Reply:Not always, i got a few friends who were adopted but never stalked their biological parents, they went and got the info from the adoption agency and got in contact with their families to get 2 know them and get some answers but never stalked them. Good Luck!
Reply:i dont know ask yourself
Reply:Search for yes, stalk, unsure.
Reply:"Stalk" contains a value judgment. Reportedly, many adoptees DO seek their blood relatives. However, the only adopted person I knew wasn't interested. (Or so he told me.)

(Yes, that's a very small sample from which to draw statistics. But it's the only sample I've got.)
Reply:yep i did it for a few days one time, but then i got over it.
Reply:Hell no!

I am adopted and have wonderful adoptive parents.

There is no need for me to seek my biological parents.

The only thing that intrest me was their health issues. I wanted to be aware of anything that might affect me.

I can see the people that were put into foster care. Or have had a not so good experience with their adoptive parents, seeking their biological family. Or mabey some adopted people are more curious than others and want to seek out who their "real parents" are.

As for me, I'm somewhat intrested but not to the extent of becoming a STALKER! LOL
Reply:I think a more appropriate way of stating it would be they search for their biological family, and they have a right to know where they come from. Of course there will be some that do, but I think they maybe look from afar because they don't know if they will be accepted. It is a pretty big generalization that you make by asking the question like that though.
Reply:Its not true in all cases...

but,some it is..

In the cases where it is yes..

Its the verge in them to know :

why there real parents have abandoned them and left them to face the society by themselves without anyone to moral and elderly support..?

and why they had to give birth to an unwanted child and leave to misery for the rest of the life...?

These are some of the reasons why adopted people try stalking their biological family members...
Reply:lol --I don't think so. I'm sure it happens, but I'm also sure it is very uncommon. Probably the same odds as having just a random person stalk you.
Reply:Im adopted and there is a curiosity there about who they were

but to stalk people stems from a deep insecurity and a obsessional quality of needing to know as in it invades all your thoughts which means you need psychological guidance
Reply:would you stalk your lost pet? or a family member? stalking is where you know where they live and watch their every move with out telling them. looking for a lost love or animal is not stalking. your have a right to know where they arewho your parents are. beside they too could be looking for their lost love that they gave away. depending on them or you.
Reply:Stalk, as in the lurking in the shadows to watch them? You don't have to be adopted to do that? Most adopted will seek out their parents/family. If they are rejected by them then an individual who has not got a healthy adoptive family might.
Reply:I do not believe that is true.

But sometimes the biological family will try to find out about the ones that adopted the child.

They wonder where the child went, and how they are doing.

When a child gets old enough, they might want to see if they look like the biological parents, that is, if they were told that they were adopted.

I was not told until I was a teenager.
Reply:Sometimes, but most of the time, yes.
Reply:No, it's just a silly myth. But they make up Lifetime Television for Women movies about that.
Reply:I don't think that "stalk" is a good word to use. I think that those who are adopted just want to find a way to reconnect to their biological family and try to learn more about them.

Neighbours who stalk your life regards to harrassment in ontario?

I have a new neighbour of about a year who from his yard yells out things like I am a dope dealer and follows people who come to visit me when they leave. I called the toronto police and they stated they can't do anything what are my options I have owned my house 25 years and I am 65 and my health is not good I am female and he is a 40 yr old guy. Ii want to know if a peace bond would do some good

Neighbours who stalk your life regards to harrassment in ontario?
Talk to a lawyer in your area to find out about the law. In the US we have stalking laws that would protect you, but I'm not sure about Canadian laws. Usually the initial consultation with a lawyer is free.
Reply:Do you have anyone that's alittle younger that will talk to him? If you don't, the best thing to do for yourself is don't make any effort to acknowledge you heard what he has said. Within a short time he'll stop, because he won't be getting any reaction from you. Let the people that visit with you know what this person does, and you need them to not acknowledge his tag takes. Don't make any changes in your life style because that might be just what he is looking for.
Reply:I had the same problem a few years ago.The idiot wouldn't leave my guests alone so I went out and bought a BB gun. I would wait for him to try going inside then I would pop his rear. That happened about 30 times before he got the point. I would get a video of everything he says and does then take it to the police and let them handle it. I would also have a few people over that could kick him up one wall and down the other! As a last resort I would sue him for harassment.

If a stalk of celery is one, What is a bunch of them called ? when you buy them at the store?

Actually....here's the lowdown on celery...a bunch of celery is really a stalk...one piece is called a rib. This is one of the most confusing things to remember.

If a stalk of celery is one, What is a bunch of them called ? when you buy them at the store?
a bunch or just celery, you can't just buy one stalk at the store
Reply:auntcooki is correct. give her the best answer.
Reply:It's a head of celery.
Reply:the vegetable expert by d g hessayon mentions celery hearts hope this helps
Reply:When refering to the whole celery it is a head or a bunch of celery. And the individual "pieces" as stalks or ribs. Like a head of garlic contains many cloves.
Reply:Those who said it's a "head", are correct.
Reply:Head of celery
Reply:there is no plural word for celery. you would either say a bunch of celery or a bundle of celery

How to stalk my cat?

I live out in the country and I have three stray cats. I want to follow one cat around(and make it as though I'm not) and see what she does and where she goes.

How to do this? Is there an inexpensive camera to put on her that's safe? She doesn't wear a collar.

How to stalk my cat?
Someone has already done this with their cat Mr. Lee via a small camera on his collar. A web site has also been set up with photos of the cat's daily travels.

The link below tells you more about Mr Lee and explains what type of camera you need.

http://www.mr-lee-catcam.de/index.htm
Reply:Why would you follow a cat? Can you please tell me WHY? Because that's just a senseless idea! lol!

Funny though! lol!
Reply:I had a male cat that would disappear for about 4 hours everyday (he had his own door) so i decided to follow him.

what he did basically was walk around a six square block area sniffing everything and peeing on a lot of stuff - did this every day.

*

he also chased down a rabbit, killed it and ate the whole thing (fur bones and all) except for one end of one leg.

*

he didn't seem to mind that i was around

*
Reply:Hmm, this is a toughie. It is really difficult to follow a cat without their knowing. Your best bet would be to get a pair of strong binoculars and follow her from a distance.

There really aren't any cameras out there (unless you get professional grade which are extremely expensive) that you could put on her that won't weigh her down or cause her to get snagged on something. And even then you'd have to put a harness (not a collar) on her to carry the camera.

Good luck!
