How many bananas are produced from a single flower stalk?
definately on the veriety. the common canvendish can make as many as 50, one called monkey fingers make small bananas than may be as much as 1000.
definately depends on the species, but banana plants are one of the fastest growing plants in the world
Reply:Depends on the variety. From 5 to 10 hands with from 5 to 10 bananas per hand, sometimes more.
To put it another way, from around 30kg to 55kg per bunch - 1 bunch per plant.
