Reply:rumour has it that bamboo, will take over your neighbors grass : ) but i, to want 2 plant bamboo, in the spring.. i, know there is a way 2 confined it.. just don't know what they use.. using oleo contains or vegatable cans, with the bottoms cut out, can be used on small plants of something.. but we, are taking huge here : ) never seen black bamboo, but sounds awesome : ) i have the green curly bamboo.. want 2 trade : ) and yes, you, can separate the roots .. if a plant ends up with no roots, put a root compound on it and stick it in the dirt.. should be fine.. even putting the plant in water, 2 root, will work too .. enjoy your day : )
