Why do people stalk others?

I mean, I know they are obviously mentally unstable but in my job, I've come across three fully fledged stalkers within less than a month - all have been so smitten with someone they've turned up at their homes, work, and generally where they know the other person will be, but How can they believe this other person will respect or love them after posting knives through their doors?!

Why do people stalk others?
That is something someone who isn't insane can never really know, at least that is my opinion. From what I understand to them these things are perfectly logical, as logical as you or I having normal conversations with someone we like, and say giving them flowers.
Reply:well you took away our hunting and then our shooting ranges so now we have to use the skills tuned by years of stalking cute little anamals and do somthing else with them

Reply:People stalk others because they have become obsessed with them. The stalker often believes that they are madly in love with the individual and lives largely in a fantasy world where one day, the individual will see their undying love and fall madly in love with them also. Wrong! Stalkers need to distance themselves from the individual, focus on their own lives, and try to build a real life not based on fantasy as difficult as that may be. Hope this helps.

Reply:unstable people often project their feeling's on some one so they believe that a person loves them in their head and when they find out they get violent trying to make a woman love them it doesn't work but they dot see it that way they just want to be loved even if they have to force her or him in to it for men i think it got to do with mom maybe just maybe they need to control a woman because one controlled them. but then you got the ones that loneliness just drove mad never having a girlfriend now they try to find a woman who has low self esteem so they can force her to be their woman
