i need the answer for our investigatiry project. any information would be a great help and would be appreciated. thank you...
How do you make paper out of banana parts?(banana peeling,stalk,etc...)i need the answer as soon as posibble?
You need a blender...%26amp; paper pulp %26amp; paper clay...%26amp; a paper form. Window screening will work, on a frame.
Put the banana into the blender first, chop up any tough pieces first. Then add wet paper pulp %26amp; the paper clay (at craft stores)
Make sure it has lots of water. When everything is broken down, pour it thru the screen, form it into the size %26amp; shape you want %26amp; use paper towels on top to squeeze out the water. Let it sit till dry.
I am not sure how well that would work because the banana may still rot, so it may not be a stable paper...

Reply:Why is this in the pets category?
Reply:Blackfang gave a web site to look at for the banana paper project so I took a look at it. I sure am confused about what they say. To begin with bananas do not grow on trees. They grow on plants. It takes about two and a half years for a new plant to produce bananas and it only produces bananas once. The plants grow in clusters and new ones are coming along at all times so bananas are produces in the cluster several times each year after the first plant of the cluster has matured. I have my doubts about the rest of that article as well. Paper can be made from so many things and most of the processes are similar for all materials. Here they even make paper from elephant dung. Yew there are a lot of those big long nosed creatures around here.
